• 20+ years of experience in teaching and program development for young dancers

Arts Management and Administration Experience

Artistic Director Kittiwake Dance Theatre 2007 to 2024

• Articulate and execute the artistic vision;

• Prepare and propose an annual artistic plan for approval by the Board of Directors;

• Submit annual company membership to the Board of Directors for approval;

• Plan, audition, cast, rehearse and oversee the approved productions for each season;

• Plan, oversees provincial tours for the approved productions for each season;

• Program and deliver workshops, as agreed by the Board of Directors

• Plan, oversee and teach in the annual summer ballet intensive programs;

• Recruit, select and supervise the dance, creative and production positions;

• Undertake annual professional development activities;

• Participate in fundraising activities, including the writing of grant applications;

• Regularly meet with the Board Chair, deliver status/progress reports to the Board of Directors;
